TOWER Superannuation Rollover Authority Form

HOW TO MAXIMISE YOUR CLIENT’S RETURNS AND TAKE THE HASSLE OUT OF THEIR SUPERANNUATION

An easy way of keeping track of your Client’s superannuation is by consolidating all of their previous superannuation funds into one of TOWER’s Superannuation Funds.

This may enable your Client to take maximum advantage of reduced fees, reduced paperwork AND maximise their earnings by having a more focused investment strategy.

Consolidating Superannuation is Simple!

All you have to do is ensure that:

1. Your Client lists and gathers all of the recent statements of all of their existing superannuation funds. If your Client is unsure of the funds they belong to, they should contact their previous employers.
   
2. If your Client can’t contact their previous employer, or their money has been transferred out of a previous fund, they can find it by contacting The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) which has a register of unclaimed superannuation moneys. The ATO’s Lost Member’s Registry number is 131 020 (please note that your Client will need their tax file number when making their enquiry).
   
   Alternatively, your Client can visit the website www.findmysuper.com.au to search for any unclaimed super they may have. There may be an exit fee charge by the superannuation fund your client is transfering their benefit from. Your Client should check with that fund whether any exit fees are applicable.
3. Complete, sign and send the appropriate Rollover Authority Form for your product to TOWER. To fill in the form for each fund that your Client is a member of.

Once the roll-over from your Client’s previous fund(s) is complete, we will send your Client a confirmation of the details.
